The Canine Agility Team was formed on Halloween night in 1992 by 12 agility enthusiasts who wanted to participate in and promote this new exciting sport! It was begun by friends who wanted to share their love of their dogs and have fun!

A TRIBUTE TO “MANDY -O”

Feb. 8, 1987 – July 21, 2003

On April 5, 1987 I took home the little black and white sheltie terrier cross that no one seemed to want.  People told me she was too afraid of this world to be any good at anything.  They under estimated the power of love.  Mandy grew into one of the most devoted and loving creators God ever made.  She continually showed her love for me by pushing beyond her fears to do what ever I asked.  For over 16 years she shared all the great times and supported me through the rough times.  She knew when to cuddle and comfort me, just as she knew how to make me laugh.

Today my heart is breaking and the house seems so empty.  I search for comfort in knowing that she is now young again and free of the confinements of old age.  I also know she is not afraid as she is not alone.  Shortly after she passed an image passed through my mind.  I saw Nipper and Smokey greeting her as she entered what seemed to be an endless green field that was filled with sunshine.  They were instantly a family.  The next image I saw was the three of them walking spryly at the heels of my brother.  I will miss her.
